Do you find yourself counting the minutes, hours and days waiting for an event to look forward to? Being humans, we're always looking or waiting for something to happen that somehow does not exist in the present.
For me, I'm counting down the days until my significant other comes back. But as it happens, its like watching a kettle come to a slow and excrutiating boil. What may usually take five minutes, will seem to take hours. In my case, three weeks will mentally feel like a year.
So come home soon darling... the world seems a dull grey without you here. Bring back the technicolor in my life!
